the first time i got to notice the songs of ashiana was when i bought the
hmv cassette of tarana . the second side of the cassette had ashiana songs
. i think that was the first time i came to know the name of this movie and
heard the songs . i was surprised to find that all the songs of ashiana
were very melodious . this is one of those gems ! thanks.

makes lasting impression just as this song has been. It is my great fortune
to have an exclusive information. I was lucky to have Tarana movie clips;
now I request you to see if Ashiana VCD is available locally. Those were
the early days of Madan Mohan, who had incidentally good friendship with
Raj Kapoor. Thanks.

In tandem songs mighty Lata ji lags behind her male counterparts,though
sung flawlessly,she looses out to Talat saab,who was no match to her vocal
prowess.Sometimes 'uniqueness' in the voice plays a vital role & goes ahead.

Lata ji excels as always, in my humble opinion, Talat ji sounds breathless,
has no voice control nor modulation; he is just not as cultured and
professional as the Queen of the Indian Sub-Continent! Lata ji has by far
out-sung Talat ji and I applaud her for never ceasing to amaze me

A very melodious song! How to appreciate Lataji's singing--carving the
lyrics and the song so beautifully ! Tuj me chupi huie hai meri bhi
zindagani---- mai to hum paas tere.I think the song was recorded at early
years of her career at her age of 23 yrs. VERY MELODIOUS !

YOU TUBE is really a very very useful tool for Music lovers like us, we get
all types of songs-old and new. I myself think that without it

even the Idea of FACEBOOK would not have survived. It is very very helpful
and useful for it. Still we would like to request that some od the old

songs which are very rare YOU TUBE should try to get them and preserve
them. Some of them are msterpieces, though the recordings

are not that good compared to the modern ones but even then we should have
it.thanking you.
