The actress is Swaroop Sampat. She is a former Miss India. RD Burman is the music director. His style in this song is somewhat like that of OP Nayyar - perhaps Asha ji used the harkats taught to her by Nayyar sahib. This is an outstanding but underrated song nonetheless. Ashaji ka koee jawaab naheen!!

geet. Bhajans are devotional songs, Ghazals are romantic poems sung with
just a harmonium, tabla, sarangi, Sitar and at times santoor. This is a
