This song was the magic of the great Gulam Mohamed and written by Shakeel Badayuni Saheb. All other songs were also very popular but no doubt that Cukoo and Shamshad Begum for ages were complimenting each other.

In 1973 I used to listen gramophone record of this song every night. In
this clip the mesmerizing voice of Shamshad Begum seems pretty energetic
but the video of the song gave it extra touch. Thanks for the upload and

Cuckoo may not be in the same league as Waheeda Rehman, V Mala, Padmini etc
as a superb dancer but what she brings to dancing is pleasure. If one
carefully watches her dancing one notices that every part of her body is
moving. That is not the case with the other ones. She is a total body in
motion.
