Comments on song "Mere Piya Tere Bina Jiya Laage Na"
blackwalnut on June 24, 2011 Nothing special..sound quality was poor.
Sourabh Biswas on June 24, 2011 Shankar's voice mesmerizes, Akriti's bewitches. :) Coke Studio at MTV *take
a bow*
san210in on June 24, 2011 I ve finally given up on coke studio india...its going to stay this
way-uninspiring...and by the way im a big fan of shankar and all that but
keep the bugger out of this.every time he pops his throat everythin in
the studio runs berserk.word of advice mtv- wind up.Cant handle more
disappointments.. P.S. Guitarist and Drummer - Stop that fake smile..its
irritating..
qwertyp1234 on June 24, 2011 @sharang156 Try the cokestudioindiadotcom site. The sound on the videos
there is better.
neelakash211 on June 24, 2011 i have to say that i don't like the voice of mr. gogoi, it has a different
texture compared to shankar mahadevan. also fusion does not mean you have
to bring people with from two different states/languages and put them
together. backing vocals was way better than mr. gogoi's part
Pancham Singh on June 25, 2011 a big let down as far as the s2nd episode is concerned... probably i
expected a lot from coke studio @ mtv... plz bring newer talent to showcase
india's huge resource. viz. sonu, kunal, zubin, palash sen, richa,
jagjit, krishna etc.plz make the episode more interesting and plz don't
repeat song which has been shown in previous episode.
glloeset on June 25, 2011 Its a good concept, but fusion is not really happening here. Also lyrics of
different languages doesn't seem to blending with each other. The Assamese
Bihu lyrics has no connection with the Hindi lyrics. Please try to choose
songs that goes with each other and try to convey almost similar meaning.
JustAStoner on June 25, 2011 @glloeset all languages of indian subcontinent are interconnected with
sanskrit except for tamil and pali languages... assamees goes well with
nepali, hindi, gujrati, marathi, punjabi, bengali, marwadi etc... assaamess
are so crazy that even english, spanish, eutopian and t'X'ulu also sound
brilliant with... no one from coke studio is hearing you here on youtube
Pratik Varma on June 25, 2011 Lovely piece. I'm kind of liking the jazz feel of coke studio India. I
don't think Leslie is quite sure what to do with khagen's voice. His other
song was a letdown.
aurelius210 on June 26, 2011 @rhymeswithsunday OMG, you've nailed it. Cheers, mate.
pkbmaharaj on June 26, 2011 Well done. Very well composed and very well sung. The poor sound quality,
however, does a lot of injustice to the talent of these musicians. Do you
have cleaner, HD sound? Enjoyed the composition, though.
Tanumoy Ghosh on June 26, 2011 @neelakash211 Mate this is only 2nd episode and that too in the first
season. Wadali Brothers are up next on 3rd episode. Just wait and have
patience and dude I am a classical singer and have been its student for 14
years now although I didn't take up music as a profession. In short, my
judgement isn't trash. I feel you are making a premature judgement.
Faisal Hussain on June 28, 2011 i love shankar. awesome...
avkumar85 on July 09, 2011 The starting and ending kinda reminded me of Dave Matthew's Band... anyone
else felt that?
Naveed Abbas on July 10, 2011 i really miss the high quality audio on the track to have a true feeling of
all the vocal dimensions
Rayhana Sultan on February 16, 2012 Ahhh.. Leslie Lewis and a great song! :)
