S.D burman thought to call rafi to record all songs of Aradhana in the mean
time he fall ill and he said R.D to call rafi and record the song's,instant
of calling rafi R.D called kishore kumar and done the recording with
him,when S.D got well he listen to the song's and said you made a correct
decision son and rest is history the song's of the film made kishore kumar

It is a remake of the Hollywood film To Each His Own, a 1946 movie.
