So in the 1960s Bombay night cabarets were crawling with caucasian women
background dancers? Yes there were instances of dancers from around the
globe visiting Bombay for a few performance but there was a much bigger
group of indian dancers that were performing cabaret in hotels. I know
India has an obsession with white women but at least when making a time
period specific movie, they could have used Indian female dancers to stay
true to the time essence.

Ironically one doesn't see white male dancers.
