wow !! what memories this brings back. i totally fell in love with madhuri
after watching this movie. fell in love with the song also. i used to
listen to this song every day in my old nissan bluebird, after passing my
driving test. i used to work part time for sainsburys and i dived for every
girl who worked with me that looked like madhuri dixit. first time i knew
what love felt like !! it lasted for a very very long time till the late
90's ! i would still marry madhuri in a heart beat..

did anyone know that alka yagnik had originally recorded the songs of this
film? gulshan kumar got Anand-Milind to have the songs dubbed by Anuradha
Paudwal. Alka Yagnik did not work with Anand-Milind after this incident for
almost a year and a half.

@bestofanandmilind Interesting point, Anuradha did a lot of work in the early part of 90's, while I prefered Alka's voice Anuradha had/has an excellent voice as well.

@BanTiger That's the difference between bollywood music in the 90's and the stuff that comes out nowadays. 90's music in another 15 years will still sound as fresh as it does today and as fresh as it was when originally released. Today's music sounds out of date only 6 months down the line.

Wow.. I only recently found out that Alka Yagnik had originally recorded the songs on this soundtrack, but for some reason, Anuradha dubbed them. How cruel. This was a huge hit song back then.
