I do not understand what they are singing since i do not know Tamil. But
this music is so soothing, that i opened the lyrics (written in english)
and am singing along with them from morning till evening. great voices and
great music by A.R. Rahman. Keshav

@deepifly ZERO is harsh. This is a slow version of the original and has
been sung in a sweet, casual manner, the way a girl would sing if she were
alone in her room. In fact, I prefer this to the movie version, which has
just too many musical accompaniments. Tucker has talent!

yeah. I dont get it, why is this version better than Coke Studio India?
Something is seriously flawed with the way things are managed in those
productions. The song selections of some, like for Shaan (thats the one l
recently saw) surprised me. "jab se tere naina" . I mean what are they
basing their song choices on? Are the music makers in India lost in their
own exclusive world of music? did they not care for the platform? Its so
interesting this version is better.

I'm sure COke studio india would defend their show as being true to
original indian classical music -- hwich i guess is the point of this
platform - that is to get back to the roots of good music. in that case
maybe I'm not ready for such music or maybe...maybe the music they like
doesn't really sound good - unless you've been training for a million years
and have the theoretical understanding to appreciate its nuances and
revelations. SO we cant blame Coke India in that case.
