Nickhil Bali on April 13, 2012 perfectionists cheers... ;)
saurabh agnihotri on April 15, 2012 Yes, it is true that they are mispronunciations in this song (in fact, way
too many to comfortably ignore)... but the vocalist is outstanding and the
effort made is commendable... I just can't get my head off this song...
btw, is a re-recording of the same possible with the correct
pronunciations? This should please everyone... even the worst critics of
this song :)
Madhu Parvataneni on April 19, 2012 I CANNOT BELIEVE HER VOCALS ARE BETTER THAN SWATI NATEKAR'S IN THE
ORIGINAL. i love the original for its DnB but these vocals just blew me
away.
saurabh agnihotri on April 20, 2012 dude...chill !! relax !! . Let us not make this page a forum to fight
over petty issues like regionalism, racism and religion. Probably,
"pronunciation-nazi" was a bit of an exaggeration.Let me make it clear -
I LOVE THIS SONG. But that does not mean that I do not have the right to
point out things that could have been done better in the song.(As long the
discussion is related to the song, it is fine). Just a thought!!! I am open
for criticism if you don't agree with me :)
morning0raga on April 23, 2012 Hi Avi, I'm so sorry I offended you (and anyone else!). That was not the
intention. I'm Tamil! I have learned both forms of Indian classical for
over 3 years. It's annoying when people don't to justice to a particular
form by messing up the pronunciation and style. For example, one my
favourite songs is Mahaganapathim (google it) and Sherya Goshal is one of
my favourite singers. She sang the song at a live concert and absolutely
butchered it, even though she's a great singer.
morning0raga on April 23, 2012 Thanks! I just replied to Avi's comment. I think he misunderstood me! I'm
south indian myself lol

Ruben BFM on June 21, 2012 Reminds me of A.R.Rahman, but with more texture to the music and Colour to
the song.
Khalid Khan on June 21, 2012 You 33 dislikers !!! I am going to find you and Kill you one by one..
Sonia Jacob on June 30, 2012 Oh F*** wat voice range mann.
R Gondal on June 30, 2012 Shankar T is a genius...it is about he started composing for Hollywood and
Bollywood. His talent is immense. This one man band has showed us what can
you with real talent and limited resources. Hats off to him.
Mal on July 10, 2012 Can you please explain the difference. I'm genuinely curious. Thanks.
MERU Concerts on July 19, 2012 It’s a story of a desperate girl who passionately desires to go to her
beloved on the other side of the river. The river is having floods…‘Nadiya
bairi bhayee,-‘the river has become hostile’ (mispronounced here as ‘bhari
bhayi’ would mean ‘is full’).She is pleading to the boatman saying, ‘my
beloved is calling’ ‘mora saiyan bulave’ (mispronounced as ‘bhulave’ which
would mean ‘forgetting’). She laments, the boatman is ‘not agreeing’ to
take her, ‘sune nahi…’. Language apart, very well sung.
Mal on July 19, 2012 Thank you so much for that explanation! It made a lot of sense. And yes,
very well sung, indeed.
Sachin Joshi on July 20, 2012 Excellent Composition ! a little funny though, the way the lady pronounced
it. It is -"Nadiya Bairi Bhayi" and Not "Nadiya BHAR bhayi"
Suyash J on July 29, 2012 Imagine Jeff Beck playing along with these guys . That would be legendary ,
this is too.
Neha Pinto on August 01, 2012 goosebumps! she's good :)
Vaibhav Kaware on August 03, 2012 Complete no no for her hindi! Should try to stop singing hindi!
ratsattack1 on August 09, 2012 Can't wait for his tour this September...
Somah79 on August 15, 2012 Good lord!!! Amazing talent. We all aspire to learn and do better! I am
sure the first time someone spoke English or any other language he or she
didn't get it right, but perseverance is key. Keep on showering us with
this talent. We are blessed :)
Shivakumar Jayashankar on August 28, 2012 The similarity is called Raag Desh :)

Amox on October 05, 2012 Her voice is superb. There was just this minor glitch when she came to the
particular line. You see both the words are totally opposite.. Saiyyan
Bhulawe and Saiyyan Bulawe are two different semantics and the former seems
little awkward when recited. Nevertheless awesome song, superb voice and as
usual, Tucker is the real deal when it comes to music composition.
280073 on October 07, 2012 If lysrics is kept apart Jounita has a clear and ear soothing voice. Liked
Tucker's experiment with original composition.
indianarchangel on October 24, 2012 Complete waste
varun lal on October 24, 2012 I am a mallu but the mallu singers in here are really killing song and
language through pronunciation
Shubha Govindarajan on October 30, 2012 Jaunita, Your voice is superb. And Thanks to Shankar Tucker for the
music!!!!!!!!!!! Three cheers to Shruti Box
Rishabh Sid on November 01, 2012 I get goose bumps each time i listen to this track.. just lovely.
bunneh87 on November 01, 2012 You are totally right! She should show more integrity and respect by
pronouncing the words right, very irritating. besides the original is way
more beautiful for the people who say they get ''goosebumps''. She sings
out of tone.
bunneh87 on November 21, 2012 Im always chill, if you cant handle the truth, tough..
vijaybhardwaj8 on November 24, 2012 saiyan bhulawe saiyan bulawe Nadiya bairee bhayee Nadiya bhari bhayee whats
the difference, both gives two different meanings and two different
flavours !! I liked it as a whole new piece :D
TheKomentor on November 24, 2012 Singer should have spent some time sitting with someone and getting the
pronunciation right. When you listen to this version, you are not able to
make out the meaning of the lyrics, but when you listen to the original by
Nitin Sawhney, you can easily understand the lyrics and are able to grasp
the beauty of the song. When you say "nadiya bhari", you are saying the
"river is full" or there is a flood, when the actual intent was "nadiya
bairi" or the river is hostile.
achyut ram on December 07, 2012 her voice is so amazing, its like water in the river!
achyut ram on December 07, 2012 the whole production unit should have been bad at hindi, why blame
her?usually those things rarely get thru.
Pankaj Singh on December 10, 2012 Just fantastic! Thanks and please keep up the great work.
nn on December 17, 2012 She is a kid who has grown up in the US. The very fact that she sings
indian songs should be appreciated. So, all the pronounciation Gestapo are
advised to take a chill pill.
@jayjohn95 the clarinet is amazing!!
