Brain can sense danger through its sensory organs. While riding/driving brain senses danger mainly through eyes and ears. If one wears a headset the brain is deprived of vital info that it needs to keep the person from getting hurt

Dude that comment which you had up there was ridiculous. I agree with makemeasandwitch. Just look at his user name and look at your user name. His is so much more cooler and funnier. I do not think you should teach him what sarcasm is.
Secondly, I guess there might have been humor in your comment. But, when you confuse head set with helmet, I guess it goes to show a lack of knowledge rather than the joke intended in the comment.

Man, the thing is that vivek is wearing a headset and the guy calls it a
helmet, and then he says that it is only covering his ears. Like how is
that funny. He is confusing between a headset and helmet. Also, the head
set is not a sony BX700, it is a very small head phone, so it does not look
like a helmet at all. I am sorry, but explain me why you find that funny
maybe I am not seeing the joke and 30ppl along with me do not see it
either.

The joke is the lack of safety in India. In the west, it is fully expected
for you to wear a helmet. The joke is a subtle jibe at the lack of a helmet
(saying sarcastically, Why is it only covering his ears") It's a witty
comment, but as they say, if you have to explain the joke it's no longer
funny.
