This film had some problems in concept. In India, at that time the terrorism was based on local issuses, like punjab , kashmir, and NE groups.

@pyasadil : Not really, I have first hand experience of Punjab terrorism and it was 'imported' terrorism, which had nothing to do with local issues.

@ghrich I loved paheli and kal ho naa ho. didn't care too much for Salaam Namaste... "Chaiya Chayia" is another one I like... so I guess more mellow stuff like AR Rahman...

I highly recommend the soundtracks from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Veer Zaara, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Swades... all SRK movies and all great! Have fun!

look for A R Rahman music. he did different languages. SRK has nothing to do with music, he is actor, he only did hindi music. Search A R rahman and Ilayaraja in youtube.

This mesmerising film is truly a work of art, the best there is in fim world, Mani Ratnum,Gulzar,Sukwinder singh,SRK,Manish Koirala and Farah Khan has all peaked in this movie. Dil Se.. haunts you forever. Manish Koirala deserves an oscar for heartwarming portrayl of a torured soul, thanks for sharing
