I kinda agree with shamshadu. He lost his "cuteness" factor after he started body building. Back here he has muscle on him, but its lean muscle which makes him look leaner, kinda like todays john abraham n hrithik.

Today his muscle doesn't have much shape or definition to it. He's just big. Im quite of a gym rat myself n im guessing he started lifting some real heavy weights to get bigger but never paid much attention to cardio or any cutting cycles which would have kept him lean n ripped.
