interesting song. mukesh is alright. the music is alright too, not too
great. the lyrics too lack in something that would make this song a

very beautiful poem. Simple, without Gulzar like complexities. The reason
is that it is penned by Dr. Hari Ram Acharya, a renowned scholar in a rare
appearance in cinema.

@eddie21y21 Mr. Daan Singh comes from Jaipur and so does Dr. Acharya. They
collaborated in 60s for this film. Incidently, Mr. Daan Singh composed
music for a film by Jagmohan Mundhra as late as 2001. It was "Bawandar"
with Nandita Das. The music was entirely based on Rajasthani Folk.

@RealMusicKing No there were some other songs but they were not even a
patch to these two Mukesh songs. There were two versions of Sunate Hain
Sitare Raat Bhar by Asha Bhosle, and there was one Mohd. Rafi song. Dan
Singh passed away last week. A loss to music world.

when it was released and have a great fascination of Daan Singh ji...
really disheartened to note the news... his songs will remain for a very
