"Mahaprasthaner Pathe" and the Hindi version"Yatrik" of the movie. The
music director was Pankaj Mullick

tarunaghosh5 on July 07, 2012 This movie of fifties is nostalgic
nandu1f on July 15, 2012 Powerful. I had never heard of Biren Lal. Wonderful voice. I would have confused it with Pankaj Mullick's, whose voice and musical genius was of course out superlative. I cannot make a emotive connection with the 40's singers like K L Saigal, but definitely with Pankaj Mullick's. Heartfelt apologies to Saigal fans - no wonder he was a pioneer in Hindi music. Thanks to Shekhar Gupta for forwarding this link. Many thanks to Guha ji for this classic.
6545802 on July 31, 2012 Biren Bal & Dhananjay Bhattacharya sang some of the songs whcih are so enchanting that
one cannot differntiate them from the voice of the great master Pankaj Mullick.
