Its amazing how people mention the actors and composer yet leave out the
heart and soul of the song - The Magnificent Rafi Saab!! Only he can bring

when this movie came, I was in prime of youth, my whole life became almost
carbon copy of this movie, this movie was the most touching experience of
my life. I did not know then that this what will almost happen to me.
When this song plays, my tears, roll and they do not stop for hours, when I
was in my youth, lots of people called me very close to Manoj Kumar, and
the most of important person at that time in my life, was no less than
Asha jee.
I suffered a lot in life, but I still think India, is/was great country,
great culture, great people, I moved from India about 40 years back to
North America, and God been extremely kind, but I will give away
everything, to go back in that time.
When you really really come close to some one, put down your life, and do
not leave that hand, hold it with a firm grip, even you die in doing it.
That death is worth million times better than the later on life, of
smoldering wood.

This is my personal opinion, please do not start a war, I strongly believe
after wandering almost the whole world, India is/was the greatest
experience of my life, great parents, great real friends, great culture,
great religions, I have been out of that country for 4 decades, but never
ever ever forgot my roots,
There was tremendous poverty, but considering the real love, and the magic
of movies, of 60s 70s no wealth, can buy it.
Manoj Sahib, had vision and expression which was beyond the human eye, his
movies PURAB PASHCHIM was 50 to 60 years ahead of time, everything what he
expressed in that movie was very true,
God was extremely kind to send Angels like him who created magic on the
earth, Raj sahib, Manoj sahib, Dev sahib, Rajesh sahib, Dalip sahib,
Waheeda jee, Nutan jee, Asha jee, Meena jee, Rafi sahib, Lata/Asha/ jee all
do not belong to normal human beings, they were rare gift of God to us poor
Indian, Manoj Sahib was my inspiration, I never ever ever looked back in
some respects in my life, I made him my template of life..although I
suffered tremendously in some respects.

Sonu Nigam,.as compared to Indomitable Rafi Sahib ,will help the legacy
left by Immortal voice of Rafi preserved. Rafi Sahib is in itself an
institution & it needs no crutches.
