I love the whole song sequence. Very simple though Amitabh is in a suite in
Mumbai!! Rain water in Mumbai was never healthy even in the good ol 70s. I
am sure they had a sterlised bath post this shot! Check 2:45 - Pedestrian
crossing in Mumbai is always an art. Lines on road are pure decorative
value!!

there is no doubt that this song is sung and picturised beatifully and the deadly concoction is very heady but from my personal point of view the most striking part is the height difference these two have ,,, its similar to what i have in my real life... so every time i watch it , i can identify myself with it...and together we laugh watching this romantic number..

I think it's a personal choice. I, for example, like the Kishore Kumar version of this song more than this one, though both are excellent. But here the picturisation is mind-blowing-- so romatic and so nice.

The thing I can't understand was when song pictiraisation of Indian movies, all time heroines are bare footed, I don't know why. It may be a tradition or Directors are not kind enough on them.

i saw this movie. before this song her shoes gets break. she looks around
for shoe maker who can fix.( In india shoe fixers sit on the road side). In
the mean time the rain starts , hence song is without shoe.
