The picturization could have been better. You know with just a harmonium, Amitabh is creating a sound of the whole orchestra doesn't go down well. Then the drab surroundings, it could have got a little more serene environment like Amitabh walking alone in a garden with rain or a flashback. I think ye all got the drift.
