This is a very special song . Long live Shailendra, Shankar Jaikishan and
Atma. For me this is the only and teh best song of Atma. Only SJ could
bring the best out of him !!!

Haunting voice of CH Atma. Wonderful composition. Has been a favorite song
for me for a long time; just did not realize Shankar Jaikishen had so

A great haunting melody by CH Atmaji. One never gets tired listening to
this song. Atmaji is typical in his Saigal type rendering. The music
directorsShankar Jaikishan still favoured Saigal tradition of singing for
this song by the master singer CH Atmaji. His songs are immortal.He kept
his tradition to the last and did not deviate like other singers.
Surendranathji was the other great singer of old school who kept his style
alive till he lived.
