Composer Ramlal and singer Kishori Amonkar both too good. Rajashri brought
the fashion of putting a stone in the navel and later it was followed by
Babita in Farz. This was Jitendra's first film and Farz the second which
changed his image totally.

The beauty of this song can not be described in words!!! this is just
ethereal..one of my all time favourite song..everything about this song is
just so special!! lyrics, Ramlal's composition, Rajshri's dance!!
everything..and what can i say about Kishori's singing whom I always took
Asha ji. She has really excelled.!!! what a nice song ! It is mystical.
this is almost cosmic. This song never fails to give me goosebumps..

Shaam, aap ka tah-e-dil se shukria for posting this! I love this film! I´m
trying to find out who choreographed for this movie and also, what dances
did Rajshri actually learn? She was a brilliant dancer and I´ve always
wondered more about her but the info on Wiki is very limiting. There are a
couple of extra magical dancers in old time Bollywood and I would so LOVE
to know more about their dance training. Those are: Waheeda Rehman, Saira
Bano and Rekha.

Among the "newer" crowd, there are extremely few really "born" sort of
dancers. Meenakshi Sheshadri, Madhuri, Rani Mukherjee and Shilpa Shetty
(believe it or not). But especially Saira Bano, Rekha and Madhuri are just
way ahead of everyone else! I would just LOVE to interview these ladies
about their personal dance journeys myself.

I don't know ABC of "Dance" but as it is not necessary to be a poet to
appreciate poetry I think it is not necessary to be first a master of dance
to appreciate it. My inner self guides me what's good or not. So I like

superb set, excellent cinematography, amazing dance, heart piercing voice
of great classical singer kishori amonker and what not, only V shantaram
could have created such amazing dance. I saw this film several times only
for this song. Modern film producers, choreographer should learn.

This will remain a timeless classic from the golden era of Bombay movie
industry. Both version of this song are marvelous. Just the words snatch
your heart, and why not; when the rocks sing magic comes alive. I have
heard the other version many times. Unfortunately this video is very
grainy.
