Aditi Patwardhan on March 29, 2013 Don't compare Rafi sahab with Kishoreda. Both were exceptional in their
respective careers...though my favourite has been Rafi sahab. And only Rafi
sahab could sing the song this way. So stop it.

P Gireesan on July 03, 2013 Beautiifully sung by Rafi saab and very good acting by Johnny Walker.
TangibleEmotions on July 19, 2013 I don't doubt what you're saying but I'm not so sure about this. However,
RDB has definitely taken a lot from George Formby here and the dance-hall
genre he was so well known for. If you check the following songs you can't
fail to notice the influence: Chinese Laundry Blues (1932) When I'm
Cleaning Windows (1936) It's Turned Out Nice Again (1939)
Saravanan Veerabhadran on August 08, 2013 this was composed by RD Burman when he was just 9 years old and the same
was used by his father SD Burman for this movie. hats off to both the
legends. proud to be an Indian Music Lover

much fun seeing how well rafi saheb got into the mood and sang like johnny

60akberkhan on September 21, 2013 Rafi saab ur the best of best's.
NAYEEM AHMED on September 24, 2013 like this song
TangibleEmotions on September 25, 2013 @Shubh Chandar I respectfully disagree; there are discernible shades of
George Formby's distinctive style in this composition. Concerning the
vocals, listen to 'Rovin' Gambler' by Kelly Harrell (circa 1926); sing/hum
the opening lines "I Am A Rovin' Gambler, I Gamble Down In Town" and then
do the same with "Sar Jo Tera Chakraye, Ya Dil Dooba Jaaye". I’d contend,
if you subtract some parts (George Formby, Kelly Harrell & Rafisaab) from
the sum, nothing noteworthy remains...
singhisking on September 26, 2013 hamko bhi saath lele re, ham reh gaye akele.beautiful song by none other

Sieberliebangbang on September 26, 2013 id didnt notice the any influence in those songs
Chetan on October 13, 2013 They are good songs but fail to see the influence. All have a standard
Rock-N-Roll tune and the beauty lies in the lyrics (poetry).

TangibleEmotions on February 17, 2014 @Chetan
If you're incapable of discriminating between two different genres of music
(i.e. rock 'n' roll and music hall), it's not unsurprising you
can't perceive the influences I've previously detailed.
