Ah, okay. Some parts of this movie are missing - it's terrible. I have the Eros one and they didn't even include the last part when Rafi and Lata sing together. >:( I wish I couuld find a full print of this movie.

yuan. i do not know about you but u are simply great for loading so many excellent hindi songs on the youtube. god bless u. Shankar Jaikishan were the emporers of Hindi Films from 1950 to 1971 till Jaikishan died at a very young age of 39 yrs.. They ruled the industry... Excellent song... of course Rafisaab and Lata bai were at their peak.

A nice song I heard during my primary school. A year later, Chand Ram contested election from Jhajjar and this song was sung in the election rallies in the following words" Neta Shri Chand Ram humein tum se pyar tha aaj bhi hai aur kal bhi rahega. It remains fresh in my memory as and when I listen to it even after 50 years. Thanks dear friend for uploading such a nice song.

Can we even think of 'Jab Pyaar Kisise se Hota Hai' without automatically
humming this song?! What an exquisite duet. Rafisaab and Lata at their
best! Kudos to Shankar Jaikishen for the fantastic tune and Hasrat Jaipuri
for his poetry dripping in romance! Did you know that Nasir Hussain's
choice of the hero's role was Shammi Kapoor?! Shammi couldn't give the
dates necessary as he another commitment. AND IN STEPPED DEV ANAND! Kismat
ka khel, hai ki nahi, mastkalandrji?!

By the way, maskalandrji, here's an interesting tidbit of information. A
year before the release of 'Jab Pyar Kisise se Hota Hai' in 1961, a Tamil
film named 'Then Nilavu' starring Gemini Ganesan and Vyjyanthimala
released. And it was a roaring hit. The songs were wonderful. BOTH THE
MOVIES HAD AN IDENTICAL STORY!! Howzat?!

I would like to add an interesting story. The film Tumsa nahin dekha1957
was originally offered to Dev Anand but he declined due to Amita & Shammi
Kapoor came in his place.The film's original lyricist was Sahir who wrote
the title song but he too opted out and Majrooh took his place.{Interview
by Shammi Kapoor to CNN IBN telecast after his death,on 15Aug.2011} chhupne
wale samne aa..Sammi Kapoor-OPN..a tribute Thanks my friend ! for sharing
