Wonder what these songs do to us..some sort of flashback of sorts. Can
never get over them as many time as you listen to them. The scenes are even
more memorable and simple yet effective..none of the new movies are able to

Touche' ! I am a firm believer of that. Only Originals for me. I detest
this new trend of "versions" and lose respect for those who listen and
promote them. People argue with me, that the 'versions' provide livelihood
to a lot of artists, but I dont buy that. My take on this is, if you are a
good enough artist your creativity and innovation will be appreciated
eventually. OR just declare yourself as a "mimicry artist". Remix versions
where they add extra orchestra(dhinchak) ruin the song.

One correction ."(THIS BREEZE)" does not bring the message of love, its the dark and loud clouds that do. Often in Hindi, the subject of a sentence (or verse) is stated at the end of the sentence rather than the beginning for poetic effect. In this case, the actual sentence made by the second and third line is - Kari matwari ghatain ghan ghor aayee hai lakay pyar ka sandeswa ...The dark and loud clouds have brought the message of their love...

'milan' is a remake of telugu movie 'mooga manasulu' .both pictures have become all time greats in respective languages because of great actors, music composers ,singers and ,not the least, directors behind their success. L-P gave music score for 'parasmani' which did not fare well at the box office though the songs are remembered even today. with the success of 'milan' their name was etched in gold alongside S-J and other great composers of the day.
