Ashwin Naik on February 10, 2008 The hero is none other than the enigmatic Guru Dutt Padukone
chwaqas on February 10, 2008 enigmatic!!! hmmm i am also enigmatic then .. lol
Sheela Lal on February 10, 2008 It's actually Geeta, but still, it's very lovely.
sonny19xx on March 14, 2008 This is a song that will never die. This surely should count as one of the
greatest duets from Bollywood. Guru Dutt and Shyama act out this song well.
Rafi and Geeta's voices are just superb and OPN comes out with his best.
THANKS kitaabik
velgean fernando on March 23, 2008 Shyama looks great! - better than Aiyshwarya Roy ! How effectively this
whole love song is picturised within the confines of a carshed. In these
days this song would have been shot in bits and pieces in
Finland, scotland,Thailand,Poland and No man's land with little effect of
the love between the two. Oh! those great 50s ! will we go back again in a
time machine ?

sds1943 on April 12, 2008 Guru is great! Among contemporary artists only AAmir comes close in terms
of quality, though they are different.
like2friend on April 21, 2008 Agree with 'velgean' below comments. What a beautiful song, definitely I
want to go back to those golden days. Guru Dutt was awesome.
purugaur on April 30, 2008 superb op nayyar and md. rafi
dsouza18 on July 12, 2008 beautiful melody number of rafi and op nayyar.love this song
V. Siddhartha on September 13, 2008 Shyama was one of the loveliest actresses in my youth-- statuesque in
shape, with a sweet face and a smile that looked as if a thousand flower
buds had suddenly opened their petals. The slight wrinkles of the bridge
between her eyes that she sometimes created brought forth both a twinkle in
her glances and the possibility of some endearing mischief. And yet her
acting had purity and innocence as well. That's the kind of stuff that used
to melt young men's hearts.
anantsandhya on January 12, 2009 OP was the greatest. Thnak god for him.
alder7445 on April 04, 2009 Nayyar Saab !!!

The evergreen combination of Guru Dutt and Shyama adds more colour to this masterpiece of Nayyar saab.

V. Siddhartha on February 06, 2010 I knew she was an athletic Punjabi Sikh girl whom Sardul Kwatra introduced
to acting in movies, but I didn't know she was from Lahore. Now in her 70s,
she is rotund-- really heavy in shape and weight. Thanks for the info.
chwaqas on February 15, 2010 ji sir bilkul ...
Parag Sankla on April 05, 2010 @devalt The female playback singer is not Asha, it is Geeta Dutt.
Jamie Kaur on May 24, 2011 @chamogaa Sir i am amazed how brilliantly you describe the beauty of Shyama
like a poet. I too found her very attractive. But it was sad that she
refused to work with Guru Dutt in "Pyaasa" because she raised her price
after the success of "Aar Paar". Kaash Shyama Ji ne "Pyaasa" mein role kiya
hota.
V. Siddhartha on May 24, 2011 @missperfect2010ful Thank you for your appreciation.
