madhuri both danced on that song and no one mentioned nothing about janet.
it is mentioned nowhere that this song was inspired by such artists. and

This song was a craze back when it was released. The funny thing is
Laxmi-Pyare were accusing Bappi da of copying this from their song 'Jumma
Chumma De De'. Whereas Laxmi-Pyare themselves had copied it from somewhere.
I love how Indian music directors give a desi twist to foriegn tunes.
