Comments on song "Tarrin Paunda"
jhaat_k_baal on February 23, 2010 ok I am a pashtun so my sindhi isn't good but lets try: the first part is
absolutely pure sindhi which would be beyond most sinhi natives so I don't
stand a chance... I'll start from tre pawnda: when branches bloom with
flowers, then we will meet, when the konjer (a bird I am told) returns
shouting Allah! Allah!, then we will meet. those days talking of
bereavement that will neither forget nor be forgotten, then we will meet.
oddhii on March 25, 2010 when red roses will bloom then we will meet, when those birds will return and will make those sounds (har har) then we will meet. when the tears will move down cheek like pearls then we will meet when red roses will bloom then we wil meet, allah those days of parting were kind of mistake of youth so we will meet when there are red roses.
oddhii on March 25, 2010 initial verses meant something like this.,
Allah, if i am good then good will be my friends, i have no complaints with them. for those you have made me crazy allah then make their hearts softer as how many times those hearts can be healed ho allah..then when those red roses bloom verse starts
Achekzai on May 17, 2010 The only word i understand here is Allah. but his voice and simplicity of the whole song and music touches my heart his voice is magical it is really calming and relaxing voice. lovely thanks for uploading it.

O` chitlaye chariyo karay... paane kadhi wayen poorh [You made me crazy about you and now you pulled off yourself]
Allah... torein hubba na ho... O` tabbe hota na kajan haitriyun. [Even if there isnt love between you and me... but dont say "no" this many times]
ho wo wo wooooo
ho Allah... wo wo wooo wooo
torein hubba na ho.. [Even if there isnt love between you and me]
stringbyte on August 21, 2010 Trhee pawanda ohoo hoo
trhee pawanda taari ain... jadahen garha gulla Alla la... [When the bunch of flowers will flourish..]
(Personally I`d translate this as "When there is blossom everywhere" or "when there will be inflorescence")
Tadahein milanda seen. [Then we will re-unite]
stringbyte on August 21, 2010 O` galann gorha tremanda... [Our tears will slide down our cheeks]
jadahen motiyun tulleya Alla la [Cannt translate this..sorry =( ]
trhee pawanda taari ain jadahein garha gulla Alla la Tadahein milanda seen.
O` veechoray ja deenhara... [These days of separation (judai)]
Ghoraiye jee bhulla Allah la... [Its the mistake of this moment]
(In details: These days of separation are nothing but the mistake of this moment)
trhee pawanda taari ain jadahein garha gulla Alla la Tadahein milanda seen.
stringbyte on August 21, 2010 O` jadahein warandiyun koonjariyun... [When the crains will return...]
(koonjariyun = crains. these types of birds... usually living at sea shores and lakes)
harra harra karay... hulla Alla la... [when the crains will return... making loud noise and in groups]
tadahein milanda seen... [Then we will re-unite]
trhee pawanda taari ain jadahein garha gulla Alla la Tadahein milanda seen.

something similar: O Waris, you'll find your beloved; Only when you have
lost your own self in the pu rsuit.

surferintube on January 07, 2012 One should learn Sindhi ,atleast for this song!!!
Allan was class of his own,he takes me to the early days of my teenhood when i used to hear the Swans' beautiful sounds when they flew high over the rural sindh's planes on their way back to North- he meant the same by saying "Koonj-diyoon"-
a kalam and voice full of hope and beautiful emotions- simply unmatchable

Sarosh Alvi on June 06, 2012 SUBHANALLAH .. Amazing voice and Kalam of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai
Ali Syed on March 09, 2013 Not a word I understand of this ode by Allen Faqeer, yet the longing in his
voice that deep lamenting, yearning seeps through my impermeable intellect
into that inner being where someone still sits silently with abundance of
love for that eternal inseparable creator that imbues us all in His
countless blessings, yet we know not. We hustle, struggle through the trade
of pleasures and haggle over words of knowledge.
Ali Syed on March 09, 2013 yet somewhere else in the lonely plateau of snow covered valleys, desires
of blossoming flowers wait patiently in the seedlings of hope like the poet
who waits for that spring of inspiration to impregnate his intellect with
wisdom of love. Have you ever conversed with your tears why and where they
come from ? Are these tears of sadness or expression of our reverent inner
being that perhaps at times witnesses in sheer awe the Beauty with all its
glory ?
mushfiq0771 on July 05, 2013 May Allah award him Jannah... Can never stop tears flowing, whenever I
listen to this masterpiece...took a lot of difficulties getting the meaning
of this song being a Bangladeshi...Salute you...
Amith P K on August 12, 2013 I heard this song from the play 'A walk in the woods' by Naseeruddin Shah.
The play opens up with this wonderful song, setting the theme for the play.
It is indeed captivating.
Drzhivago11 on August 27, 2013 That is the idea behind music and Sindhi music in particular...it touches
the heart.
