Comments on song "Tasavir Banaataa Hun Teri Khoon E Jigar Se"
listeningforpleasure on July 07, 2009 Thank You very much for posting this forgotten Rafi Classic! Talat
Mehmood's Baradari song became more famous but Rafi Saab's rendering of
this version of "Tasveer Banata Hoon" has its own signature charm
amscia on August 28, 2009 A masterpiece
rajahuja1111 on May 30, 2010 This gazal by Mohd. Rafi is much better than Talat's even though the other gazal became more popular. But this one is a master piece.
AapKiFarmaish on August 13, 2010 Please do not even compare these 2 songs; this song by Naushad is a real
gem, a real classic; the one by Talat Mahmud is just another routine song -

rumahale on August 14, 2010 @rajahuja1111 Absolutely right. Thanks.

rumahale on August 27, 2010 @apoorvabhatt60 Thanks.
rumahale on September 28, 2010 @atulbachheti Sincere comments coming from the heart. Thanks. I too like it
very much.
kkjb586 on December 02, 2010 Sawan(rainy season) had to borrow ghata(cloud having rain) from her julf
and bijli(electricity) had to steel tadap(current) from her eyes
----------what a romantic way of describing her beauty.
AapKiFarmaish on December 05, 2010 @atulbachheti GOD's voice? Very appropriate comment, I like it. There will
never be another Rafi.
rk10101 on February 12, 2011 Just superb! Melodious, wonderful in a matchlessly romantic voice of a
perfect hero in our imagination, Rafi sahab's magic! Kudos to Shakeel &
Naushad both for creation and composition of this magic!
JhankarofAnnArbor on February 27, 2011 This song has also been sung by Habib Wali Mohammad (it is on TouTube) who
sang it in his unique style. Apparently, Naushad decided to keep the Rafi
version. Thanks for the wonderful upload.
Manoj Mahajan on July 16, 2011 Rafi at his best. Soulfully. Then, the lyrics, the composition. Naushadsab,
Shakil and Rafi. Divine composition. Jitne bhi mile rang woh sab bhar diye
tujh mein haaye, Ek rang-e wafa aur hai, laoon woh kidhar se...! Iss awaaz,
mausiki, shayari kaa hai andaaz-e-baya aur. What is so special when Naushad
sang Rafi is, he won't allow Rafi to mimic the voice or style of the actor,
Remember Khilauna jaan kar ...? So, the Rafi would be his own self.
Passionate, soulful, magical!
rumahale on September 20, 2011 @manmahajan Great comments indeed. It is absorbing as the very song itself.
You are right. Rafi without gimmics is natural self and highly adorable.
Thanks.
kkjb586 on October 08, 2011 What a wonderful song sung by Mohd Rafi!

aspects.
Vinod Bhatia on February 07, 2012 WHAT A MAGNIFICENT SONG, SUNG SO BEAUTIFULLY BY MOHD.RAFI. THIS SONG IS
BEYOND ANY IMAGINATION OF THE BRIGHT SPARK IT ILLUMINATES OF A BEAUTIFUL
LOVE WITH SURAIYA'S PORTRAIT IN THE CENTRE. THE COMPOSITION IS AS GLORIUS
BY NAUSHAD SAHIB AS LYRICS ARE BY SHAKEEL BADAYUNI. IT SEEMS LIKE SHAKEEL
BADAYUNI HAS TOUCHED THE PEAK OF POETRY WITH THE MAGNIFICENT PORTRAIT OF
LOVE HE DRAWS IN THIS POETRY. IT IS A CLASS BY ITSELF.
rumahale on February 08, 2012 @vinodkbhatia Thanks for rich critique that is in full justification of
this beautiful song.

kaun likhey ga aisa kalam ?
kaun aisi dhun banaega ga ?
rumahale on September 20, 2012 Excellent critique - you have covered all the aspects. Thank you.
sandeebush on September 28, 2012 If almighty wanted a voice, he would have chosen Md. Rafi. Sandeep
rumahale on September 28, 2012 Well said. Thank you for liking and rich appreciation.
nandu1f on August 17, 2013 One of 20 best sung SOLO songs of Rafi for me, among Hain kali2 ke' lab par
tere'; Aaye' bahar ban ke' lubha kar; Suur na saje' kya gaun mein; Tu Ganga
ki mauj mein; Ye' aasu mere' gham ka bayaan; Ab woh karam kare' ke' sitam
mein nashe' me' huu; Hum aur tuum aur ye' samaa; Jawani aaye' mast2 din
piye'; Yeh such hein ai jahan walo' hume' jeena; Man mora bawraa, nis din
gaaye'; Tu kahe' agar, mein jivan bhar geet. Personal, no offence meant to
any one. Hard to pack such a giant in small heart.
imranzaidi6 on December 28, 2013 Rafi Sb's voice of beauty and wonder when he was in his twenties. The magic
of music and of love in its purest form. Not modern day movie-like love,
with its glare and hollow and sequined glint...,not lust and allure.but
just love and beauty of imagination. This is what results when the
imaginative fantasy, purity of thought, and skill of great artists like
Shakeel-Naushad-Rafi melt unitedly into this romance-filled mesmerizing
song.
Your uploads comprise of priceless jewels. Thanks Mahale Ji.!!
Revati Pawar on June 21, 2014 Thanks for showing this beautiful song .
