example..Jao Re Jogi tum jaore is from Amrapalli soundtrack but not in the
movie. so is Jeevan Path Par from Ek Shriman Ek Shrimati..and Karle itti
Pyar from Pehchaann. Sad cause these were songs were lovely

I was shocked to read even Sharda was given best female singer Filmfare
award in 1970...But that exactly was the time Mafia money had started
flowing into Indian film industry.profoundly affecting Art,
Real artist and quality as well as honesty. Rm

Sharda fits well for songs like "Deko mera dil Machal gaya " (SUraj ) ...
In songs like these she sounds like a broken record.

What a Super voice of Sharda wish she was given chance to sing more songs
RealMusicKing on March 30, 2011
Once Shanker was asked in an interview "what is the difference between Lata and Sharda?" He replied "Absolutely nothing. Lata sings for money, so does Sharda". Shanker never liked Lata. Always had problems with her. Somewhere in early to mid 1960's Shanker met Sharda, promised her a singing career & took her as his mistress. Sharda had zero- singing capability & a very tinny/screeching voice. Shankers wife died of cancer. He had no kids. After his death, guess who got the billions of Rupees?
Narayana Das on June 26, 2011
RealMusicKing! If you know so much you would have licked Shanker's balls
and got a fraction of those purpoted billions...typical Indian mentality!
When you look at an artise look at his/hers capability not monies! Go fly
kites, yaar! Das

@evndas YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT LATA WAS TOTALLY
ARROGANT AND SELF CENTERED AND OFTEN DITCHED THE SAME PEOPLE WHO HELPED HER
TO BECOME A GREAT SINGER LIKE C RAMACHANDRA SALILDA AND OF COURSE THE GREAT
S J AND RAJ KAPOOR BUT AS A SINGER SHE WAS DEFINITELY MORE TALENTED THAN
SHARADA
Narayana Das on September 07, 2011
Yaar! Please get this into that "thick skull of yours"!...What has
Shankar's wife's death and even if he had taken Sharada as his mistress got
to do with either SJ's music or Sharada's talent as a singer? It is a known
fact that there is no comparison between the voices of Lata and
Sharada...to be honest with you they are worlds apart! You will truly
appreciate a talent when others start "aping" their songs on stage or
otherwise! Leave alone Lata that is also true in the case of Sharada!
RealMusicKing on July 15, 2012
Please, think before you post. Why Dafak Shankar would've looked here and there when he had Sharda and her look-a-like, "Evndas"? Shankar is long dead. Don't feel so lonely. Now go and fly down some zippers and blow for Anna Doanna yaar!
RealMusicKing on July 15, 2012
What's there to appreciate? Don't see talent when all of Shankars tunes sound alike. His so called "hits" were hits because of RK's influence. Lata is "Lata". Sharda (not Sharada) was / is "nothing". So what makes you think he was talented?
renukaprasadtumkurba on October 18, 2012
Why should we debate on the talents of Lataji and Shardaji? It is mere co incidence that Lataji was established singer when Sharada entered in mide 60's. The difference lies only between the richness/ sojourness and soothingness of a voice. We apne apne jagahpe teek hain.
