Anwar is good in soft numbers. But he did not get chances as Shabbir Kumar is excellent in both soft and fast numbers. Remember Betaab, Coolie, Pyar Jhukta Nahi, Woh Saat Din and the current Housefull "I dont know what to do"

Your comment shows that u don't have sense of music and good voice. No doubt that Anwar had sang this song very nicely, but he was nowhere near Mohammed Rafi, and in the whole world there was never ever and will be never ever a Singer as Versatile as Mohammed Rafi

I am in absolute agreement with Sayed. :) With due regard to Anwar, there is just no comparison between him and Rafi Sahab at all. To say that he is 'better' would be revolting to even Anwar himself. :)
