In 1962 my Dad, who is from near Bombay originally, took us to visit his family in India. We stayed for 6 months. This song played constantly on the radio and was number 1 on the "hit parade" for months. It is one of the pleasant memories of my childhood . . . I have not been to India since, but hope to visit again one day.

Hi , wat a singer OMG. observe evry time he says chashm e baddoor . it slowly coinsides with music like u cant make out it is instrument or vocal . wat a amazing and wonderful landing in every parah's. i think he is da ultimate. also nobdy can sing landing notes like him (nt only landing but all flavours,expressin,modulatinetc)
