just heard a wedding band singing this song... the simplest arrangement of music is a mile apart from the hindi songs today... the past hindi songs are so simple yet the meaning is sooo beautiful! :) although i wasnt born in that era... there's a certain sense of nostalgia about the old hindi songs... Mohd Rafi and all.. Special! :)

yes your right old songs were much better the lyrics matched the music because the songs were written by proper poets in urdu and the music was composed by proper musicians who were good at their jobs now its like commercialised for anyone and everyone.
