Please check your facts. This is the tandem version of the same song which
appeared only in the film and was not released in the records because of
which less people know about it. In this version shyam begins the singing
followed by Geeta ji singing for Shyama. Suraiyya watches her sing the song
surprised. It was a love song sung with old lover whom Shyama's character
has heard singing. Liking it she sings it at home. (Shyama is Suraiya's
husband's sister).

Suriayya in this song even from All India Radio's urdu service. I never

The melodious voice is of Suraiya who acted as well sung for the film but this song may be sung by Geeta Dutt. A song will ever be evergreen in the minds of people who have seen the film.Great Song, Great Lyrics, Great Artists, and of course the Great music composer Naushad ali Saheb.
