Could this comforting bhajan be the first congregational in Hindi film? It
showed Shankar Jaikishan not only made great romantic compositions.
Similarly, they proved their versatility with "classical" based music in
Basant Bhahar & shut up threir distractors who considered them "pedestrian"
(without rich classical background). They were my initial "music heroes"
when I became enamoured of Hindi music. My other fav congergational bhajan
is Allah Tero Naam by Jaidev, Hum Dono. Thanks Yuan.

I really wonder what inspiration SJ, had to compose such great tune , what inspired Shailendra to come up with such profound lyrics.
