cricketer Samil Durrani, who played an important role in India's first
victory over West Indies in 1971, was born in Kabul. In one of Amitabh
Bachhan's important movie 'Zanzeer', Pran plays Sher Khan, a pathan, who
come from Kabul. Sad that Afghanistan is lost to terror but also understand

For some reason this song keeps appearing in Rafi collections -- it is sung
by Mahendra Kapoor and not Rafi. I am a huge Rafi fan but we have to give
credit where it is due. Yes, Rafi is the greatest but there are others who
have sung good songs too. Thank you for the upload. Also to broyly322628 --

Mahendra Kapoor was one of the few singers of India who became icons of
indian music. Mhd. Rafi was not only his contemprary but his ustad & very
close family friend - Mahendra saab respected Mhd.Rafi saab alot..i saw his
last interview of his life tiome where in he started to cry remembering
Rafi.
