In fond appreciation of Chitra Singh, here is a sweet ghazal she sings
exquisitely. The lyrics & melody in a sea of dreams, gently rising to scale
up the higher notes, punctuating each heartbeat with a violin guitar &
flute accompaniment in haunting refrain, the swell dances along, swaying to
Chitra's endearing vocals, lost within a sweet reverie under some
enchanting sky to reach an inspired finale. Oh! Oh! i just got carried

This is the best of CS's melodies I have heard so far. I always thought that she has a young and charming voice that was suitable to relatively simpler and less intimidating compositions!But all that perception has now changed. Here she clearly proves that she can take on any challenge...the way she throws her "murkiyan" here creates an immense listening joy.
