Nice upload! I was looking for the song but itis not in the VCD of the
movie, released some time back. Have you noticed that though the song is
supposed to be in Rome, the hero-heroine are in Mumbai's studio only!

if "Ta Mi" is the right pronunciation instead of "Tu Mi" - i would say that
the poet/MD has taken a poetic license. Rest of the words "piaci cara" are
pronounced correctly by Kishore, AFAIK. Again a sort of Hindi-word is
indicated in words sounding like "tumhi" & "Piya"

Wow. Heard this when I was a kid and suddenly recalled it today. Showed it

It's "Tu Mi" not "Ta Mi"- Tu Mi Piaci is an oft-used phrase in Italian, and
Tu is pronounced exactly like 'Tu' in Hindi.

Appreciate your observation. Yes at 4.31 it is Manna Dey singing just one
line 'Arey dil mera jale jale'. But why such gimmicks were introduced by
Dada and his son in this movie- nobody knows!

used to be a ploy of I S Johar to keep mistakes in his movies to be pointed
out by biewers, in this case a line lipsynked by Manna Day for Kishore
Kumar. I S Johar never really bothered about sensibilities as long as
everyone had fun "Watch a movie "BADHTI KA NAAM DAARHI")
