jimmynoor68 on September 24, 2007 yes haq, its mohammed rafi, he was lucky enough to sing a duet with noor in
his early days and luckily this song became a very popular song and can be
called a 'break' for rafi.

mbuff8 on September 22, 2008 great song, has so much pathos thanx
Abieha Khawaja on October 14, 2008 noorjehan was definitely a highly intelligent and patriotic person who
always put her country above her person, that selflessness made her a
better person than all those selfcentred louts who consider personal goals
more important than the integrity of their nation.
GNgoodnews on October 27, 2008 Thanx 4 ur vote:D
Dr.USMAN latif KHAWAJA on October 30, 2008 one and only the solo great masterpiece by the 2 greatest stars from the
horizon of music on indian sky -true greats are always solitary and
historically never repeated -so this remains the only song ever sung by my
two fave singers ever -god bless them both with eternal peace and joy -amen
Dr.USMAN latif KHAWAJA on October 30, 2008 it means here or =in this place
Dr.USMAN latif KHAWAJA on October 30, 2008 for the people who think good music is confined to geo borders -all
countries have copied many of their musical and artistic best from other
countries and cultures and india actually leads that trend in the whole
world with lifting anything from anywhere it can find anything worthwhile
-just too many examples to even woth giving in that perspective -
suralaap on December 21, 2008 This song is fantastic, unpredictable.
What I like is how the lines are not predictable like other songs. You have to keep guessing what line will be next.
I love this song ---this is a masterpiece.
rahdisas on April 13, 2009 Wow - rafi's voice is completely different here - refreshing.

babar shahzad chaudary on July 27, 2009 Ranked as a break for 3 grates: Muhammad Rafi, Noor Jahan, & Yousaf Khan
(Dileep).!
Komalrani on August 12, 2009 The tune of this track has been inspired by the MARSIYAH recited every year
during the month of Mohharam, originally sung in AZAM GARH, in UP province.
This was a popular in 1930's era.
durlabh kolhe on October 29, 2009 a great song having sweet tune and melody voice of rafi and noorjehan.
mkkiani on December 18, 2009 Wonderful lyrics about the torments of falling in and out of love, something each of us seeks to avoid, if only for the suffering on all sides. Today's songs rarely go to these true depths of feelings. Thanx for the upload!
mrcoolchap89 on April 28, 2010 1:38 - 1:50 WOW!
rumahale on September 16, 2010 Excellent.
ashish das on November 28, 2010 Rafi was an unknown singer when this song was being recorded while
NoorJehan was top singer at that time. Music Director was very doubtful
whether she would sing with this teenager. But not only NoorJehan recorded
this song without any problems she also praised Rafi Sahab and wished him
success.
sheru7mera7naam on December 01, 2010 the first and last duet of Noor Jehan & Rafi... amazing
Rafique Muhammod on March 03, 2011 once again i went back to my child hood ..i could see my grand father lying
relaxed on the chair listening to the song-from an old 1960 model radio
with 2 bands -pin drop silence - i was 6 years at that time - not much
aware of the song -but could had some thing in mind which i cannot explain
now- since then this song has haunted me through out my life - with all the
nostalgic events and scenes of my child hood - i cannot forget this -
memories of the legends are long living -rafi -noorjehan
beautyandbeast1000 on March 09, 2011 @mkkiani How true it is what you are saying. I was a young girl then and I remember this film and saw it where I could find it because we didn't have those fascilities then. The duets are my favourites and I have never forgotten them. So glad to find them on Youtube to hear them again. They are still fresh as ever and have that depth of feelings which the songs do not possess today but for some. Aaj ki raat is a masterpiece for me.

Anwarturk on October 03, 2011 @ Ramesh puri, you r right, i noticed that mistek. but the music director is Firoz Nizami sahb.
Colonel Rao on October 17, 2011 Very good old song of yesteryear. This became a hit and I used to listen the
song on an old spring gramophone. As stated Rafi sahib was not known then
and this gave him a much needed break. He came up soon and with Baiju Bawra
became a famous singer. There was no looking back for him for next 20 years
and tide changed for him after 1970 with rise of Kishor. This was also a
great hit for Madam Noorjehan.
asha1053 on April 01, 2012 love this beautiful song!...thanks to Rafi Sahab, Noor Jahan, and Feroz Nazami
