khazanchi on September 11, 2009 Like derubala,I am also very happy watching this old gold in video.Thank
you for your time and effort.
himsingz on December 28, 2009 Lovely!!! Lata sounds really good here, but can't bring in the sensuousness
Geeta would have brought to this song had she sung it.
Reincarnation on December 31, 2009 i see what yumean...geeta had a unique quality in her style, a a very
beautiful.sort of sultery sweet element. as does asha. though lata
always has a an innocence - even in her sensuality. i do miss geeta's
presence in bollywood. i love analyzing the sublte powerful factors of
music. thanks for your input.
Glow of Hope on January 05, 2010 Movie: Milap (1955) Cast: Dev Anand, Geeta Bali. Lyrics: Sahir Ludhianvi
Music: N Datta Singer: Lata Mangeshkar Beautiful song - thanks for making
available. There is another version by Hemant Kumar - that is also
beautiful.
HindiUrduTeluguBest on January 08, 2010 Happy new year. Old one poem / poetry is better than 1000 of today.
nandu1f on February 21, 2010 The sweet song suits Geeta Bali's sweetness. One more classic song from N
Datta. I still don't know who was N. Datta, and used to mix up Dattaram
with him. If I am not mistaken, Dattaram was assistant to Shankar and
Jaikishen, and also later produced some excellent music. Can some one
enlighten me about N. Datta?
Forlornness on March 07, 2010 Mahagedara, Ayubowan, Looks like you too, a Sri Lankan who has a strong
nostalgia towards the beautiful old hindi songs.
Forlornness on March 07, 2010 Yuan, Are you from Sri Lanka? Mahagedara is a common Sri Lankan Word, and
the best english translation would have been My Family Home..
Mahagedara2 on March 07, 2010 Ayubowan!
Of course, my friend I am a very much Sri Lankan.
I can see that you have a strong connection with Sri lanka, according to your profile.
I kindly invite you to visit my "main channel", yuanyuanyuanyin too.
Take care,
Yuan.
rumahale on April 10, 2010 Beautiful song... rarely found on YT. Thanks for making it available.
Hemant Kumar version is also beautiful.
RealMusicKing on May 22, 2010 I believe this is Geeta Dutt.
RealMusicKing on June 06, 2010 Look at Geeta's expressions. She knew how to act well. Sad she died so young.
RealMusicKing on June 06, 2010 It's Geeta Dutt singing, not Lata.
RealMusicKing on June 06, 2010 @nandu1f Datta Ram Naik was from Goa andwas an assistant music director to Shankar Jaikishan and consultant to many other MD's such as Roshan, Kalyanji Anandji, Laxmikant Pyarelal etc etc. He also composed music in about 20+ movies.
N. Dutta was Narayan Dutta and was a Marathi and used to assist S.D. Burman. Later he started to compose for himself and was very popular in the 1950's.
Hope this is helpful.
N. Dutta
Kay Cee on July 22, 2010 As the song proceeds, so does open a secure passage to the heart ! Every
ones' I am sure. Lyrics, voice , expressions, location and music: all fit
in so well. Sumptuous in every sense. Most enjoyable.
Rajendra Oza on August 04, 2010 A fabulous song Yuan. Thanks for upload

KishorKR on December 05, 2011 What a beautilful melody! Listened to it today after so many years.
Memories were re-kindled. Thank you for the upload.
Shahid Faraz on June 08, 2012 thumbs up if u r listening it in 2012
Ulhas Gupte on January 25, 2013 Lovely! Geeta Bali & Lata Mangeshkar together create MAGIC. Thanks a lot.
PLDB27 on July 08, 2013 NO Bollywood singer, male or female, had or has Geeta Dutt's quality of
singing which was based on the "under beat", which gave weight to her
singing - whether in light or sad songs. Neither of the Mangeshkar sisters
were capable of equalling her in that altho' the younger tried hard to
imitate her and the elder one continues to put her down in favour of her
younger sister...!
Suresh Maloo on July 04, 2014 I had an urge to find what the people have in their mind for the song,
surprisingly people have over expressed themselves. Comparing any singer
with Lata Dee is alright, but we should better leave it for the wisdom of
the music director to chose who should sing the song.
Reincarnation on July 06, 2014 this song has a captivating melody and lingers in your psyche long after it
stops. geeta bali has done it true justice with her alluring acting. magic
is created in the heart of the listener.
Subhash Kothari on March 10, 2015 Sweet and immortal song from Lataji, Sahirji and legendary music director
N. Duttaji. I like this song.
pdavis55 on July 25, 2015 This song indeed has a captivating tune.I cannot quite describe it but
ever since a couple of days back I discovered it, it keeps haunting me. The
languorous melody, the poetry of Sahir and Lata's mellifluous voice plus
the visual of the song: Geetabali is also a very big part of the magic.I
always thought her as a chubby girl with no particular appeal...but this
song changed my mind.
pramod Royzada on September 08, 2015 one of many melodeous songs of sahir_hemant combinations.really enchanting
I saw first time on video. this makes more sweet. thanks you for sharing.
