Right from the opening notes of the sarangi, this song simply grabs your ears and mind and never lets go! It just seems that this song is the template for other mujra-type songs that came subsequently. Just a great song with Shanker-Jaikishen at the peak of their creative powers. Thanks.

The dancers are Vajiffdar sisters. I was trained by one of them Shireen Vajiffdar [ later married to Dr. Mulkraj Anand. ] She was a dance critic and I had opportunities to participate in all their performances and also meet other great Dancers and Musians of that time. Thanks for sharing this clip. I was trying to locate their dance for a long time. Thanks once again!!
