Plus she knew that Rahuls family has a higher status than her family so she was worried as well about how to convince Rahul that their relationship is not going to work.

@BigG99 who gets to define "corny" anyway? North Americans? Westerners? Bollywood is very close to the surrealism and theatricalness seen in stage musicals or even shows like Glee or movies like High Schoo Musical. They are meant for entertainment and escapism. If I wanted something completely believable I'd watch a documentary.

As a fellow Canadian I'm glad you've learned to step outside the box! Watch more Bollywood!!!
