Horrible pronunciation. Waste of good composition. Why sing an emotional
song in a language you don't speak? Begum Akhtar once said that it is a

ye mera deewanapan hai ki this video I watched. She has made the mincemeat
of the lyrics of this song. She should have at least listened to the
original song before trying to sing this heart touching melodious song.
Only the flute and the guitar player have done the job well. Raman should
sing only original songs and not songs of Lime lights like Mukesh.

This rendition felt as if the song never started at all..she sung it like a
jazz singer with all its liberties and the result is at best forgettable.
