the tune itself is a waltz and the song showed what can be achieved with the combination of western tunes to the romanticism of indian artistry without imimtation. the choice of instruments and of course the heavenly voices of MRand LM made that song such a pleasure to listen

Heavenly voices and and melody make this song unforgettable. Unfortunaltely
the picturisation is not up to the scratch.Anyone who has been to hill
station knows what evening mist in the mountains feels like, not a parbat
in sight for miles and the song is shot in broad day light of midday
sun.Despite this still the most beautiful song ever.
