I love the song but I´ve always wondered how Madhuri´s family reacted to
this. I mean, I´ve heard they´re pretty religious? I´m not very fond of how
B´wood always shows women but what I find interesting is how Madhuri
basically controls the movements and Anil just looks superfluous! As if
he´s not even needed because at the very first beat of the tablas...Madhuri
moves and everything else vanishes. You can tell Anil has a hard time
trying to hold her there ha ha! Go Madz!

well ash has got great exposure and popularity in the west among viewers of
course. But Madhuri has achived the status of best bollywood actress ever.
Both have different strengths and they are of different personalities and
different aims. After 97 Madhuri reduced her work very much and focussed on
starting family. In fact after dtph she signed only 4 films pukar lajja,
devdas and AN. All other films were late release that took very long time
to make.

yes, but , this one should be compared with the seduction numbers of
Madhuris contemporary major actresses. Take Sridevi for example, the
seduction number of justice chowdhury, it was based on display of body in
much less costume, while body is drenched in water, the same with masterji
seduction number or inquilaab, where she danced in swimsuit and Amitabh in
shorts.

Beta is the best entertainment film of last fifty years. The story is only
in a village-no foreign land,no mini skirt,excellant story,comedy through
out,beautiful choreaography,sweet songs. Every thing is great about Beta. I
have seen in ten times. |Only other film i have seen second time i Hey Ram
by Kamal Hasan and Lage Raho Munna Bhai.
