Lol .. I got sick of seeing the arguments on here so I thought I should drop a knowledge bomb on 'em. Buying rights is one thing .. but blatant plagiarism can't be lauded .. its inevitable though that music will always rebrand, evolve, change forms, and get inspired or inspire... Anyways the appreciation is appreciated! ♥

the onginal song is not rusputin,orginal song is "shukno patar nupur paye".its a nazrul sangeet(bangla song),kazi nazrul islam was started writting at the age of 10.he was born in 1899 and died in 1976.the main point is Boney m was formed in 1975 so how can it b orginal.so u can check intetnet.u all can search youtube too.

all these songs were copied from a song by Kazi Nazrul Islam, who was a Bengali poet of 19th century. If I am not wrong he died before 1920. So he must have made the original tune...
