watch Bollywood movies regularly. They should make movies costing 400
crores. Tell me one director in Hindi who can think big budget movies like
Shankar or upcoming Mouli for the limited small audience compared to huge
Hindi audience. They take risks for their love of cinema. That is the
thing missing in Bollywood. They should make movies costing 400 crores and
then you talk about it. People are not conveying this correctly in their
comments.
We are talking about big dreaming directors , not the good directors.

the movie has all the ingredients.
but somehow they are not properly mixed.
the movie is grand, the locations are beautiful, vfx is awesome, vikram's
acting is outstanding, but the story is slightly boring.
may be it is due to the expansion of the movie.
but the movie just not an ordinary one, it is a blockbuster.
shankar's actin will surely make you emotional during the climax of the
movie.
in a word this movie is a classic.. :)

Textbook objectification of the woman in the song. Women are people, not
objects like motorcycles, cell phones, gym equipment, fish in the market or
detergent foam and most definitely not machines or robots. They are people
with feelings and a heart. You can own and possess objects but you cannot
own a woman. You can only love, respect and admire..but never own. This is
the problem with society today.

Impressive graphics - well unexpected from Bollywood! Congrats on that!
Music would be impressive - but in reality the sort of stuff that a young
dance music kids can produce at home with a laptop and softsynths. Not
so impressive coming from a professional music director of the calibre of
AR Rahman who has extensive background in music composing - supposedly.
