In spite of not being an authority on music, being only an avid listener
for over 50 years, I find Mr. Moti Lalwani's comments rather strange, If I
may suggest, Mr. Lalwani may read write ups on Burmanda's work on internet
itself and find for himself what critics, fellow composers and other
dignitaries have to say about his work.If using folk music etc. were
condemnable, then what about the works of other stalwarts like Naushad,
Salilda, Khaiyyam, Jaidev, Hemantda, C. Ramchandra, Roshan etc. ?
