Thanks for sharing this rarest video of Film shabnam-1949. Heard in audio
form many years ago but the video and performance of Cuckoo increased the
value of the song. Cuckoo had also maintained her individuality in the film
industry as a favourite dancer.

SD Burman was known as ''Music Directors amongst Princes and Prince amongst
Music Directors'','cause of his ancestral background and his great music
skills as composer.The artistic twists and turns and beautiful intonation
of this song are the mark of his masterly skills.Shamshad sang it
beautifully,too,with her unique voice. And Cuckoo,artful as she was,danced
elegantly to the tune of the song--keeping a harmonic rhythm with all its
twists and turns and its varying intonation! Thanks arshia!
