this song of ASHA ji is from the very successful private album called ' an
unforgettable treat ' issued by HMV in the early 1970's. IT has sold even
more than 'Dil Padosi Hai' , Burman sahab's tribute to his wife's genius.
HMV as usual wanted Lata ji but finally had to eat humble pie when Jaidev
insisted that only Asha Bhosle would be able to handle these 8 great
tunes..semi-classical singing at its very best.this song is
brilliantly introspective ! love it !

Asha Bhonsle forever ! How beautifully she sang the poetry of Mahadevi
Verma suffusing it with apt emotions. And, of course, Jaidev deserves much
credit for an extremely beautiful semi-classical composition... what a
talented composer he was. Love this song, and the rest of them from this
album as well. Thanks.

Never heard this beautiful song, sung by Brilliant Singer our Dear Asha Ji
in her UNIQUE,soulful voice. Great,touching lyrics. Asha Ji looks very very
beautiful & impressive with glow of intelligence on her face. Thanks Ajay

Fantastic! I am a big fan of Jaidev who did not get as much recognition as
he deserved. Songs of Hum Dono, Kinare Kinare, Prem Parbat, Mujhe Jeene Do
and many others, including Madhushala are proof of his calibre. Thanks

Another lovely, lovely Jaidev-Asha treat especially because I am hearing
it for the first time. Glad to know that the poetry is by Mahadevi Verma
