Centuries will pass before another voice of his calibre, elocution, style
and expressive emphasis on the emotional aspects of the lyrics will be
gifted to this planet again, he can naturally justify the poetic lyrics and
I think the poets created these inspired by his voice as they could
imagine his immortalising their creations just as the composers did, there
is no match for this legend and he could sing anything with free spirit.How

Doctor saab i am immensely pleased to bring back your golden memeories of
this favourite song of Mukeshji.Whatever you have said about him is just
perfact,though i wouls like to add that he has done pride not only to his
country but to the music lovers of the Globe by his melodious and soulful

ragshiri jee this composition is in rag rageshwari.there are tears in my
eyes as this .song is so much part of my life .I am in music all my life
after listening ustad ameer khan sahib bhimsen joshi sahim ustad abdul
karim sahib and d.v. palusker sahib . Mukesh chand mathur still has
somthing in his voice which touches the heart uf toba bless you for

This song was penned by Kaif Irfani who wrote in few films like Tarana,
Sheroo, Malhar. He was a talented Urdu poet who used to work for Urdu
newspaper Milap (Delhi). This composition of Mukesh is remarakable. He used
to take help from Anil Biswas and Roshan. Anilda was his Guru and Roshan, a

girana. Meri bebasi ka bachpana fasana, kise' yaad rakhhu, kise' bhuul
jaun... For some reason, this beautifully sung song, so soft like a petal
of flower, was gone from memory. I would have taken it for a non-filmi
