Such songs are not created in ordinary moments but in inspired moments and
mood. OPN must have been in one of his most creative mood and Asha would
have been equally ecstatic moment. This song would have been born then. The
lyrics keeps up with the music and the lyricist would have been equally
inspired. Just goes to show how inspiration is infectious. THANKS kpm5886

You are right, these two songs, and Haule Haule Sajna, were my three
favourites, although all Asha-Nayyar songs are in a class apart. But now I
think the two songs from Kalpana (Beqasi Had Se and Hame Maro Na) are the
two best. Atleast, these are the five best Asha-Nayyar songs.

that hasn't been said by others? In sheer versatility-- the range of
musical genres-- AB has had no parallel among female singers. OPN created
not just thrilling melodies, his trademark, but also some of the finest
ghazals and classical songs . I agree with what another listener said above
about the mujra ghazals in Kalpana: They will remain among the most
memorable ones in that genre.
