To write poetry around a story situation is a tough artistic challenge and I am simply amazed how richly the Indian film lyricists have contributed. In this song Shakeel's poetry is not superficial but filled with profound philosophy wrapped in a mocking tone to suite the screenplay. Guru Dutt's cinematic genius is also visible if you carefully observe the camera angles. Music Director Ravi and singer Asha Bhonsle also have hit bulls eye with their talents. This is priceless! Thank you.
